I was wondering if someone could help me in Trailblazer nav install. I was thinking of adding the oem nav to my 08 TB, I have bose onstar & xm radio antenna. What all will I need for this install to work besides the nav radio?

You'll at least need the GPS antenna. It might already be there, but you'll have to pop open the part of the dash that covers your vents. If it's there it's directly behind the vents to the left.

On my Envoy I can pop open the cover about 4 inches to look inside without removing it completely, don't know about the Trailblazer
The part number is in this thread: http://gmtnation.com/f35/need-oem-nav-gps-antenna-info-352/

I'm sure someone will chime in if you need something else.

Edit: I've still got my old one if you're interested. Only problem it has is the CD player doesn't eject completely, it'll pop out about an inch and then go back in. It's like playing "whack a mole" you gotta be fast to get it.

Thank You Dad-o-Matic, I will check and see if I have the antenna when I get off work.

With you having a 08 model. YOu probably need a non-lux unit. 15800000. Then its just a matter of installing it, and, getting the dealer to re-vin it. The VSS should already be there, didnt know they were putting the GPS antenna in vehicles that did not have a Nav system thou..
