Isn't it annoying when a 'thing' just appears out of nowhere?
I was trying to remove the nut on the steering shaft to intermediate shaft coupling and the ratchet handle hit something towards the outside wall of the driver's side foot-well and this metal clip dropped down!
I looked and the only things I can see that the ratchet handle would have knocked are the Transfer Case Shift Module or a small module that is zip-tied to the harness there (may be part of the immobiliser?).
Anyone know what this is and where it should fit? Five points to the winner.
It sort of looks like it should hold an edge of a piece of plastic together (?); doesn't seem too important, but I don't like things left off.
