I just got some speakers, wires, and other stuff for my Trailblazer in today. I have an Alpine PDX 4.100 amp with Alpine SPR-60C Components and Alpine SPR-60 Coaxials. I got the Kicker PKD1 Dual amp kit, Kicker speaker wire, and Streetwires ZN7450 RCA. Here are some pics of everything and can't wait to get it installed

I know just gotta get it installed, and I only have one speaker that works and it sucks. Yes I am going to have 2 SA12's and a second battery, HO Alternator, and few other things. I will be pushing around 1500 RMS on the subs :big grin: That is going to be in a few months just have to start saving up again

Very nice man!! Are you going to install those yourself? If you do, Do you mind taking pictures and doing a step by step on how to install them?

Well our garage is kinda full and it came from UPS around 6 so it was kinda too late to get anything started

Very nice! I have alpine subs and some el cheapos in my kick panels between them and kicker you can't beat them for price. Are you doing in dash or pillar mounting on the tweeters? And second skin is the winner imho. Also 1500 rms of bass is badass but don't you wan't to hear words lol I had 2000rms with 2 JL w7s and now I two alpines and 1000rms and that's enough bump for me. You people and your earthquake machines Haha

I haven't decided yet and I heard second skin is a lot thinker and you don't need to double it up much. Don't know how true that is though...I may go around 1000 rms just its not much difference in price between the two.

HAHAHA I don't know about that... I want a lot of bass but don't want to worry about cracking my windshield. I may end up going with more like 1000-1200 just because a second battery, HO Alternator, and all the 1/0 AWG adds up $$$$$. I could manage buying a second battery but the HO alternators are so expensive

Im on right around 1700RMS from 3 Amps. 2 Gauge from the positive terminal to my Kinetic 600 and then 4 Gauge from the battery to all the amps. No problem what so ever. You can just Big 3 before a H.O alternator. This is toned down also I used to run a 2700rms still no issue.

The Big 3 is a must for sure. So you do or do not have a HO alternator?

Okay I wil probably do 2 SA12's in a ported box. They are rated at 600 rms each but can handle 1000 rms easy
