Let's see some pictures of your furry friends.

Here is my Golden Retriever; Summer (Mehr)

My parent's Golden Retrievers; Zeke (light one) and Ted-E-Bear (dark one)

And the 3 of them. Zeke and Teddy like to ride in the cart behind the tractor, Mehr thinks they are nuts and doesn't usually get too close to it.

Mine was suppose to be for my mom. They had 2 more golden's before those two puppies. One was 14 and had congestive heart failure and the other was 6 and had epilespy (?) and bone cancer. We got Summer as a rescue in case something happened to Jake and Emma. My parents house is in the middle of nowhere and my dad travels for work alot (leaving my mom and sister home alone a good bit). Wanted a dog for "protection." Summer ended up bonding with me and just became my dog. People we got her from abused her, was a mother with 3 girls (6-9-14 yrs old), so she was leary of women. Still doesn't get close to girls she doesn't really know.

Aussies are the best dogs ever. We had two while I was growing up. Would have another one, but I cant keep a dog like that in an Apartment.

Thanks! He was up to 109 two weeks ago. We were expecting 115 to 120, but he's almost a full year old so I'm not sure he's going to make it. Of course, when Julie starts running him high miles he might gain some more muscle weight.

They are great, but we would never get siblings again. Sidney and Tang are sisters...and constantly competing.

Somehow our family ended up with three pet rescue dogs.
I kept saying one was enough. that would be the blonde mutt, 'Seasha'.
Then we somehow end up with another one which would be the black mutt, 'Blue'. (She has very blue eyes...meh, the kids name the dogs)
Then I'd say two was enough....Then we somehow ended up rescuing another one! The latest one is a chocolate lab mutt named 'Mocha'.
Currently I'm saying that three is enough! Hopefully my wife and kids are listening....

All three dogs are great! Each one has it's own personality, but all of them love living in the bush beside a river!
I can't keep Mocha out of the water!
Blue seems to be fascinated with porcupines, and unfortunately it costs me $600 per year for the vet to remove the damned quills from her encounters. At least the other dogs know enough to stay away.

Seasha seems to be the cat of the group. She brings home mice, birds, squirrells, and muskrats. If all three dogs get in on the action, they will bring home rabbits and beavers. At least I won't ever go hungry with these dogs around! I Keed!!!

Nice pets folks.

Enjoyed looking at yours, still miss mine, Cocker/Springer cross. After 14 years she has been gone for a year and half. :frown: Treat them good they will return that 10 fold. Notice they never seem to have a bad day.

:iagree: That is why dogs rule, no matter what has happened even if they don't feel well, they still always try to make you feel better.

Your Choco sounds like it has the same personality as my Black Lab

The first picture is up north at a small inland lake I brought the inflatable to, the second pic is on my Four Winns on a trip to Lake Huron!
