im guessing if its anything like when the lights go out and you have to either fix them yourself with LED's, or buy a whole new unit, im banking on buying a whole new passanger module just to have the piece.. my guess, check out a junkyard and go from there..

the panel itself is grey but it has a crappy plastic fake wood panel over it im assuming its stock because all my dash is accented with it, ill take a pic in the am to show what i mean...

here is the wood pattern im referring to not a great pic but itd one i had on my pooter

Looks custom. I have never seen a Trailblazer from the Factory like that. If it was factory I would imagine it would have the matching shift knob

With you having that wood overlay, you will loose it, unless you just replace the electronics under the peice itself. It can be done, just need to find a donor peice.

Ebay has them.. Is not Trailblazer specific either.

I have factory wood grain in the voy and no matching wood grain on the steering wheel or shifter knob.

Don't know if that's different than the TB or not. But according to the info from my VIN # I basically have a denali without the denali name as I have all the option the denali does except dvd player and auto adjustable pedals lol

Also, before I looked at the Envoy's I test drove a 2005 LTZ EXT Trailblazer that that the same exact wood grain in it as the pic hitman posted, drove an 02 TB LTZ EXT that also had it and without matching steering wheel and shifter knob.

Im not 100% sure but u could buy a regular non wood grain and changed out the face with yours.

what exactly is wrong with it? if its a button not working i think there is more to it then just replacing that.

The button is one of the issues, but there is a split across the actual panel, the wood grain is ok and im sure with some heat i could get it off, stupid me though when i changed out my speakers i noticed the edge was lifting so i put some loctite adhesive on it(not thread locker)
ill take a pic and load it when i get into work...
thanks for all the reply's
