Looking at maybe getting this kit

Originally was going to get the 3" suspension lift but found this kit through bds for a 2" and upgrading the rear to the fox gas shocks. Anyone have this setup or any thoughts in general?

If not this then i was going to get the 3" ith rancho struts and shocks.

Roadie ran it for a long time. Several have used it over the years and it seems solid.

I've had it on my truck for almost 9 years now. 0 issues(except with their gas shocks that only lasted about a year, and they would not cover any sort of warranty on them).

Did you have the fox shocks?

HAHA... BDS no fine print warranty that covers no wear items or basically everything in a suspension that actually moves.

Also it says this right on the page "If you are the original purchaser of any BDS lift kit and it breaks, we will give you a new part. Period."

This was their response back in 2008.
"Unfortunately, we are only able to extend a 1 year limited warranty on the 9500 series gas shocks which is actually better then most in the industry."

I had gone just over a year...Had driven maybe 12K-15K miles on them.

Oh so dont get the bds shocks then. Just the struts and upgrade to the fox shocks?

I have 30" duratracs on mine

I haven't been on the forums much in the last couple years...so I have no opinion on the Fox shocks.
