I've been wondering about a potential, or ideal, candidate for appropriating a stock front IFS with more durability and aftermarket support than ours and then gluing it on in place of ours. Now before everyone jumps in with the oft-repeated "buy a different truck" I'd like to frame this as a thought experiment.
If, say, one of us came across a wrecked late model Silverado, Tacoma, 4Runner (or even going solid axle JK swap, a la the BDS Crawlorado)or the like and took all of the front running gear including steering and then fabbed it in place of ours what types of issues do we suppose one might encounter?
