I’d like some more torque for my new tow vehicle
My new TV 04 chevy express 3500 6.0 4L80. has 360 ft.LBs however it weights
8K LBs it's actually a mini RV.
Towing close to 4K LBs includes trailer.
Please suggest upgrades for increased torque. To help towing. thanks

I think your only option there is to find out what gears you have in the rear end, and see if you can up them.. I bet it has the 3.08, maybe 3.42. Swap them over to 3.73, and then you should be good.

A cam swap and tune would be the way to go.

Richard Holdener on YT does A LOT of dyno testing of the LS engine. He did some tests of different cams on a 6.0L

And he also did some tests of the new Truck Norris cam although not on a 6.0L

@Reprise did do a swap on his and could advise a bit more on what to get. I know there is an advantage to swapping in a TBSS intake manifold however not sure if it increases torque or HP. Also depends on the clearance for a truck intake in your van.
