Just purchased an 03 LS EXT and was wanting to get a list of parts lined up so I can start buying them bit by bit.

I purchased a set BF Goodrich A/T KO2 265/70/17 to replace the current tires when they go bad. They will be mounted on the factory 5 spoke wheels. I don't care about a bunch of height, I just want the tires to clear and not rub. Im looking at the supreme suspension parts but am unsure what size to go with. I also know I need spacers too along with the rear shock needing to be longer, but again not sure what size or brand.

Thank you

Well, I am pretty sure a 1.5 inch wheel spacer adapter is in your future. Anything over... If I am remembering correctly, 30.5 inchs, requires a spacer.

Nice looking rig. One of my favorite wheels on there.

Edit: I think you are going to have a rubbing issue on the front fender liners

What @TollKeeper said. 30.6" is as tall as you can go without spacers. The lift has not as much to do with not rubbing as getting the spacers, but a 2" lift will be fine.

If you put on a 2" lift, a Bilstein 4600 shock will be fine as well as their 5100.

You'll want to replace both the front and rear shocks if they're OEM regardless, because they'll be farked. The 4600 (Bilstein HD) was the standard until the 5100 came out because the front 5100 is an adjustable shock, so you'd only need the rear lifting blocks. But, I believe that the 5100's at least, are back ordered.

Funny thing about that is that as soon as I drove it home I took it to my mechanic and we ended up replacing all of the suspension (struts and springs all the way around) and brakes (pads and rotors all the way around), and new lower ball joints and end links. So underneath it's almost all-new now.

Ugh.... I see what happened to the old cheap replacement end links if they are not re-greased and well sealed......
