LED turn signals in mirrors

Time for the next mod. Im going the cheap route again with some LED's inside the mirrors for turn signals. Im wondering if it is possible to just use a strip and tie into a blinker somewhere and have things work correctly. If so where can I tie into?

I'm not of much help with your question, but I like the idea. Just be sure you use a strip of side-firing LED, and also, do some careful clearance measurements to be sure you don't interfere with the operation of the power mirrors. Interesting idea

Not really. I dont have the clear lenses on my 02. I just wanna throw a led strip inside the housing and wire it. Im just not sure where to wire it to AND if it will even work.
