So I haven't posted in a while, so I thought Id be the guy to let you all have something to add to your mod list...
I purchased the VLED V3 Triton switchback blues..... Yeah they aren't cheap, they set me back 180$ for a pair.
My overall goal is to improve the front of my
Envoy. I hate the fact that I'm the guy driving around with some HIDs and that I pretty much blind people a lot... So I am retro fitting some projector head lamps for the low beam.... But let's talk about the switchbacks!
Ok these less are bright! I want to remove my Amber lens soon, when I tear out the headlamps for the retrofit.
So these have a few extra cables.
You have to get a few things.
The 3157 kit to plugs into the kit that feeds the power and turn signal on and off. You then connect this to the ballast of the LEDs. Then you have to run the red cable to the power cable of the running lights. So what happens is that the on white driving lights come on and when you flip the turn signal on it turns Amber color.

I would love to see a video of these switchbacks!
:iagree:

Damn those things are bright, but $180 a pair  . I remember when VLeds.com first started selling them, they were only $99. I think they are selling them for $139 now. No way I could justify $139 for turn signals.

Yea it's 135 for the system but it slowly adds up to $170 and then add in shipping... Easily $180. But well worth it with a nice warranty.

I've seen other members on other forums that love the Tritons for their brightness, I can't justify the price though myself. PNP switchbacks will be fine for me, until I build my own.
