I've been surfing the web tring to find LED Brake/Blinker/Reverse Lights for my TB. I was on Jettt Auto Tech and just about fell over when I saw the prices(No ofense to anyone). The bulb size is 3157 for all 3 bulbs in the Left and Right Tail Light. Looking at Superbright LEDs they have 6 selections of the 3157 Bulbs. My question what one do I get??? Instalation is straight foward, but selecting a LED is(for me) a bit harder.

If you have anyother LED 3157 reccomendations let me know

I have the 315x-x18-T 18 LED tower bulbs from superbrightLEDs.com. They are perfectly bright, and the nice thing about them is the inclusion of full wave bridge rectifiers. That means that no matter what way you plug them in, they will work.

Would It matter on which of the
Operating Voltage Range
Unit: VDC
Current Draw @ 12 Volts
Unit: mA
Luminous Flux
Unit: lumens
Dominant Wavelength / CCT*
UNIT: nm / K

I get?

I bought my 3157 bulbs and all my LED's from this seller on eBay and he is the best to me! I have never had a single problem with them or the seller and I have with other sellers. Here is a link

3156 3157 items in 3157 store on eBay!

Yes they are a bit higher in the price but cheaper then other sites and he's a great seller! I got the 13 SMD's and if you need a picture let me know.

Well you have your SMD LED's and then your regular LED's

I am saying this

What are the Turn Signal Bulb size? According to Lamp Replacement Guide Home they sould be 3757A. Does that bulb size apply to the Parking Lights? Or are they a differrent size?

ROFL Didn't even see the Parking lights LOL. The Front Side Markers are 194. I thought that was interior.

Posting from my phone, so pardon the random shorthand.

For the front park/turn, the socket will either be a standard or ck style. From what I gather, ck in the front is rare.

For the tail light: brake is ck, turn and reverse are standard.

The difference between ck and standard is the position of power and ground pins. Putting a standard bulb in a ck socket can result in bad things (from as simple as a popped fuse up to complex like a fire).... Ask me how I know

The video in this post will assist you in determining what style socket you have so you don't order the incorrect bulbs: http://gmtnation.com/showthread.php?p=18908

The bulbs you get are more than likely going to be polarity specific. If they don't light up, remove the bulb, rotate 180* and reinstall.

The only bulb that won't be a direct plug and play is the front turn/park bulb. The stock bulb is a 3757 and the led bulbs are 3157's usually. If you look at the above post, there are two nubs (or whatever the actual term is) that may have to be removed from the 3157 prior to install, afterwards it is plug and play.

Lastly, if you change your turn signals to LED, you must add a load resistor in parallel with the turn circuit to prevent what's known as hyperflash (bulb out warning). A pair of 3ohm 50w is needed if changing front and rear to led, a pair of 6ohm 50w if doing either front or rear.

Hth.

Old-fashioned china cheapies

My LED 3157 fit right into the 3757 socket. Load resistors, also old-fashioned.

I would have suggested a flasher replacement, but with the OP mentioning the price of the bulbs as a concern, I doubt a $70 flasher would be on the list

I think mine was somewhere around $10, but required additional wiring to accomodate both sides and hazards.
