Hello All,
I have a loose upper intermediate shaft that it driving me crazy. Got the part ordered and will be here by end of this week.
I have searched over the net, youtube, this site and the old site and could not find anything explaining how to remove the steering shaft, thru the firewall or from inside the vehicle.
I have all the tools including the lock tool and want to know what to expect when tackling this job.
My question is, once I unbolt the shaft, do I pull it up from the inside of the vehicle or thru the firewall.
Dumb question since the shape of the shaft indicates pulling from inside would be best but I have had some surprises with other repairs before and don't have access to all data anymore to review.
Thanks in advance to anyone who advises on this.
