Long story short, my phone self terminated on Wednesday and I have no way of getting my contacts off of it.

Also, lesson learned, the new phone has all that backup jazz.

Or he could have thrown it at someone or something? I did that once, threw my phone at hubby during an argument. Needless to say he had me go about a week without my lifeline. I learned my lesson lol...next time I will aim better

I had a Samsung phone n that place where the wire goes was all messed up. If held in a certain way it would connect m work. When I got a new phone I tried several phone stores so they could hook up the cable and transfer my contacts. I eventually found a store that transferred them wireless via the Bluetooth. I had over 400 business contacts and such in there. When I lost my job and had to give the phone back I deleted it all on purpose so the company didn't have any of my contacts. I'm lost without them and know how much of an inconvenience it is.

I no do nothing! I had it replaced under warranty a few years ago but at that time the outside screen worked so I was still able to get everything but pics/vids. This time, both screens died and the phone wouldn't communicate over USB. Stupid technology!!!!

Verizons site said that it would get them even if the phone was not responsive. Lies!!! But yeah man it sucks.

IIRC somewhere in your verizon "my account" is a backup for future reference (I don't use it, think they want $$)

Thanks! Yeah it's got some fancy shmancy technology that syncs whenever I add a contact now.

My wife's phone is on it's last leg. I downloaded the backup assistant ap (it was free), and now her contacts are safe. (Verizon) Now we need to find her a new phone.

I just had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago. It really sucks trying to get all your contacts back.
