Hey guys,

I put a new ambien air temp sensor in, and immediately after doing that, my digital HVAC head unit went dark. All of the buttons still work, the entire system seems to work, but i have no display. I did the three button reset, pulled the #36 fuse, and i heard some things going on inside the dash and under the center console, but after that, the HVAC head unit is still dark...

Any idea what I did wrong, and more importantly, how I can fix this problem?

Probably a coincidence. Check rear fuseblock #7 and #32. Module *lighting* is separate from the HVAC system functionality, because the BCM has to be able to dim the lighting. If the HVAC module is out, it may be a bad module or connector to it if nothing else is affected. If the gauge cluster, radio, transfer case control switch, and rear wiper switch lights are also out, suspect the dimmable lamp bus.
