Seriously, what does the truck fail to do now that you need it to do? Go fast in a straight line? Or go fast around corners? What's your budget for mods and for fuel to keep a fast vehicle running in the fast lane? Track or street? What's your skill level for DIY? What's your driving experience? What's your previous vehicle mod experience? What's your threshold of pain for speeding tickets?
How old are you?
[An illegal question for a job interviewer to ask, but it seems it's legal here.]

Stock speed limiter is 98, I can get you a lot more mph. The hp part is harder.
the roadie said:You can get better straight-line accel using other methods besides hp. You didn't fill out your vehicle profile, but it's cheaper to change gears if you're 2WD. Go to 4.10 gears if you don't already have them.
Other than that - get a tune. Best bang for the buck mod available.

Limequat, how much for a tune? and what is getting changed by the tune? I should be right around the corner myself.
limequat said:Tunes are $99. You get work to the spark tables, tweaked fuel under acceleration, TM dialed back, crisper shifts, etc.

limequat said:Normally, I do mail order. Since you're so close we could do it in my driveway or meet somewhere. It takes about 15 minutes to do the job.

Limequat, are you using HP Tuners?
