How to "rebuild" HVAC actuators

It can be done as per this video. The actuators themselves are still good, just the gears inside that fail. This video shows how you can use cheaper Dorman recirculation actuator gears to rebuild your current one. The recirc actuator doesn't have a position sensor so it's cheaper to sacrifice it. We all know that Dorman's electrical stuff is junk but you can buy one just for the gears and put them in your actuator.

that's worth "money".... I am hoping mine last longer. The fact that they cost so much in one thing but the other is the work to get at some of them.
