This is a "Nice and Concise" How To Instructional for the R&R of the Front WSWs, and Fascia Panels to access the Electronic Wiper Control Module for either the R&R of the replaceable, upper portion of it... or a Repair it by performing a Grease Cleaning that settles upon the Contact Wheel when the Grease Globs packed inside of the Motor Worm Gear during its assembly manage to melt and drop down inside, contaminating the Unit:
I cannot recommend using the Windshield Wiper Armature Removal Tool being used by the VOP (Video Original Poster) However... I CAN Recommend getting THIS much more robust OTC Tool for this Express Purpose:
OTC 6676 Heavy-Duty Windshield Wiper Arm Puller:
One Last Cautionary Suggestion... ALWAYS lay a Beach Towel with multiple folds adjacent the WW Armature Studs when using this Special Tool because the Arms can suddenly come loose Quite Explosively... and the Heavy Gauge Tool can fly up in the air and may wind up Cracking the Windshield:
