Years ago, I was on the trailvoy.com forum, but see that it is out of commission.

Well, I have made several YouTube videos on how to repairs for Trailblazer/Envoy and it made sense to post them here. Hopefully, they can be of use to others. This video is how to change your oil and Blackstone Oil analysis.

Good Job. Sounds like you had a family member coaching you as you did it. Always a good way to learn.

Keep in mind some other points. I usually remove 3 of the bolts to the skip plate to swing it out of the way. you did not mention about coating the new filter gasket with fresh oil. Plus I usually fill the new filter with fresh oil before srewing it in place. Perhaps update your video next time you do it. But overall, like I said, good job.
