What about the 10 year thing? Aren't they supposed to have parts for a vehicle for at least 10 years? Maybe Dorman (gack!) makes it? Or I'll bet ya that somebody rebuilds them with new cells unless the electronics are bad.

Saw a video of a guy with a Tesla, battery shot and replacement cost was more than the car was worth. He blew it up.

There are a few places that offer rebuild services, and some offer rebuild kits. Upgraded batteries, or renewed batteries, and they are extremely more affordable than OEM.

Tahoe rebuilt battery pack service $3500 with lifetime warranty, and they come to you to do the service!

I almost bought one because of that. But it had AFM/DOD issues.
