From an advertising and marketing standpoint, things have been slow this year. We're looking at a 30%-40% drop in revenue... the same revenue we use to maintain our licensing and pay for our hosting (which we break up semi-annually).
Because of this slump, it is very possibly that we won't have enough to cover our hosting costs in October. Normally, I would personally cover any discrepancies, but the timing is all wrong for that type of solution right now... added to the large departure from last year's numbers.
We're asking that you consider any of our perk packages or a straight site donation, and maybe spread the word to other members you interact with.
We're confident that we'll make it through this rough moment in time, we might just need a little extra support from the community.
