Hello all I have an 09 Sierra Hybrid that spit an axle out so I removed it all together and had driven it on my adventure it popped up the service 4wd messege. I’ve replaced the axle driven well over 200 miles and still have the error. Tried erasing codes but it sticks. It’s the dreaded c0937 or 397 code can’t recall the order. I had no issues before this. And 4wheel low still works 4 high feels like it’s working but I haven’t been able to confirm. But in low it locks it easy to feel the difference when turning. Did I damage the actuator by driving it? I’ve replaced both hubs as well and the axle. Reused the axle that was fine. Any suggestions l?

I would try one or both of these; disconnect the TCM and reseat the connections and or reset the PCM.

I checked the plug at the front diff to the actuator and it’s secure wiring looks good far as I can tell. I’ll pull the plug all the way off and re seat it. As well as the other. And see what that does.
