Headlight grill conversion from the older to newer question??

I had asked a similar question before, I want to put the new style headlights and grill from ‘06 onto my ‘05 and everyone said they would pop right into place using the same clip holes as the old but I forgot to ask can I leave the ‘05 bumper on or would I have to change that to?
It doesn’t look like it since the headlights and grill are basically the same the change is really in the inside. Thanks all

You need a newer bumper as well

Headlights will fit directly. Grille will not without replacing the bumper cover because the newer LT style has a step in it while the older/LS is straight across.
