Walking out to my Tahoe the other day, I noticed a connector hanging underneath. When I climbed under it, I couldn't find where the connector plugged into? The wire is in the same bundle(loom) as the wire that connects to the top of the transmission. It's a gray connector with 6 wires. I don't have a check engine light on, but I put in a BTR Stage 2 cam, SS Header and SS Exhaust a few years back and had the ecm tuned. The truck still runs fine, just like to know what the wire goes to? Thanks in advance for the help!

Do you have a pic of this connector? Is your a 4x4, 2wd?

If that Harness is anywhere close to an Oxygen Sensor Bung... it may have been used by the company that Tuned your Performance Cam for the prevention of Excess LEAN Conditions and a more comfortable "Loping" Idle at Low RPM and for Torque Converter Stall issues. Then perhaps after removing their AES BOSCH Wide Band O2 Sensor (Post Tuning) and replacing it with the Stock OEM 02 Sensor... they may have forgotten it... and just left their AES Harness behind.

They look something like THESE Items:
