Hello- I have a grindlike noise when I turn left. Happens only on a hard left, and only while moving. The sound is only coming from left or driver side.
I had brakes replaced on fronts and this seems to have started after- maybe by chance.
I've seen some posts about maybe a bearing but not sure.

How many miles do you have? I strongly suspect the hub/bearing if it's not the backing plates. And brake jobs wouldn't damage a hub, but the mechanic could move a backing plate a slight amount. And it doesn't take much.

Just helped my friend replace his hub. If it is the hub the noise is usually coming from the side that you turn towards because there is more lateral force on the bearings.
