Found a good deal on some Goodyear Wrangler Fortitude HT tires. They are 255's not 245's which were stock size on my Envoy. So they are 10mm wider and 6.5 mm taller. It's not very much but will it throw off my TCM or ECM enough to be a problem?

What those guys ^^ said. I have 30.6" on mine and the speedo is off by 2mph with 3.42 gears.

FWIW I tried 265/60/17 Kumho Ecsta which is not an agressive tread. I went from 270 miles per tank to 225-230, this was when gas was $4/ gal (in my area) around 2006.

After 17K miles I cut my losses and sold them, went back to the OE size Michelin.

Looks nice! I have a 05 Envoy Denali that I just installed bilstein 1500 struts and shocks with 81069 moog rear coil springs looking at tires now. Good to know no rubbing with the 265/70/17’s
