i just bought an 06 trailblazer recently, so im new to these things, and to this forum but ive read over many places ive been to that gm will pay for half the repair of the fuel sending unit, mine is bad. and i was wondering if anyone knew of a link to where i could print or get the paper gm sent out for this to take to my dealer when i go. or can i just tell them? Thanks in advance

I had mine done yesterday, $148.00 out the door. I was going to replace the fuel pump at the same time until I received some wierd pricing from the service advisor. I checked on the fuel pump and the parts department they quoted it at $436.00 put service wanted $560.00 for the same part.

Welcome to GMTNation

I had the repair done a few weeks back. I called a dealer I've never dealt with before and told him I had a P0463 code and needed a new fuel sending unit. He entered my vin # and there is special coverage of 50/50 split and to bring it in and he'd do it. Glad it's done I was tired of looking at the orange low fuel light and resetting the engine light. I hated the engine light the most because even tho I knew what it was on for I would always attach the scanner to make sure.

..if this is a one shot offer by GM.Mine was replaced under warranty by the original owner and if it fails again I'm wondering if it will stil be covered under the 50/50 deal :undecided:
