Yay. I'm thinking you amp will be pulling about half that or less. So a smaller rated fuse closer to the amp is necessary. You don't want to chance this. I'm sure you amp has fuses or a over heat protection of some sort.

Yea it does and yea I need to get a different fuse but iirc it has 3 20 amp fuses so I should be good

Edit:never mind just read the manual and it pulls 40A max

Let me know when you want a stealth box made up. I still have the cast ready to make another one if you interested. Just need to know what sub you would want to put in it. [emoji4]
It's just something I wanted to run by you. uploadfromtaptalk1443235785608.jpg

How much? I was looking at this, if I can do it all for around the same price that won't be bad I just need to find a good sub and mono amp to go with your box.

Your going to have to look through some of my post to see the process. But for you if your willing to take a day to learn how to work with fiberglass and resin and spend about $60 in material. I'm free to help you out. No charge.

How I ran the amp turn on and amp power wire.

I have the amp turn on wired to a acc. Power circuit (ignition fuse) for now so if anything goes wrong with the amp as soon as I turn off the key it's off too and won't stay on with the r.a.p circuit. I will switch it to be powered off the radio fuse after I finish tuning the amp and finalize the install

Also I originally bought pyle 6.5" component set for the front, pyle 5.25" coaxial for the rear and 3.5 coax for the dash.

So far I've returned the 6.5's because they have no bass, sounded bad, and we're quiet with anything below half volume but distorted on anything higher.

I am going to return the rest aswell but I am waiting to recive my new rears and dash speakers

I'm getting Rockford Fosgate R1525X2 Prime 5.25" for the rear and Jl Audio C2-350x 3.5 for the dash, im also getting bass blockers for the dash so I'll be able to run the rear at full range.

right now the I have the dash speakers wired in parallel with the rear doors to get 90w's at 2ohms which is perfect power for the new speakers coming in and also it's why I have them now on the High pass filter and why I'm getting bass blockers.

for the fronts I have put the stock bose subs back in and giving them 90w's since they are 2 ohms and they handle the power perfectly with the gain at max and slight bass boost and no real tuning yet.

Also from my checks the front doors are 2 ohms and the dash and rear doors are 3 ohms but don't hold me on that since my meters battery is dying so the readings are off some

I probably won't replace the front bose yet but when I do I'll either get a Dayton audio 8" sub or a tang band 6.5" sub (from parts express)

Going to install moog stock rear Springs today and finally get off of the z71 Springs. Also will move the amp over 1" toward the front of the car to clear the panels storage box and install a fan, amp doesn't run hot but no sense in doing this twice. Amp is currently running the front door speakers with the stock bose subs at 90w's (2 ohms) and the dash speakers in parallel with the rear doors for a 2 ohm load giving a 90w split.

Right now running the lpf on the bose and hpf on the rears and dash which basically gives me a amplified bose system until I get my bass blockers for the dash then I can run them full range and should have the dash speakers sounding better.

So far I've installed pyle 3.5", 6.5", and 5.25" speakers and have issued returns for them all, the 6.5" component set had no bass and would be quiet at low volume and would distort at full volume

The 3.5" are starting to crackle, but they did sound good when not crackling

The 5.25" were the only ones that seemed good and had some bass too

Either way I got Rockford fosgate prime 5.25 for the rear and I was getting jl audio c2-350x 3.5 for the dash but I'm having problems with the order so that's all on hold for now

The bose seem to be taking this power just fine I'm currently running the lpf a bit higher than 40hz so probably around 100hz or so I still need to fine tune them.
I also have the gain slightly lower than max and a bit of bass boost on aswell, so far so good... Except they rattle the damm door panels lol [emoji2]

I still need to apply some peel and seal aluminum insulation from homedepot on the doors and that should not only stop the rattle but increase bass response too [emoji3]

Was thinking of removing the bose and putting 8" midrange woofers and getting a sub in the rear but I'll wait for now

Also I used to get light flicker but then the car died, and then I realized I didn't fully tighten the battery post [emoji52], lmao

Either way I changed the post since they were stripped and now no light flicker! New post didn't solve it just tightening them did.

Well the ss brake lines didn't work at all, the banjo bolt was a course thread vs the fine thread of our trucks uploadfromtaptalk1444491224972.JPG

Also the rear Springs are by far better. There is by far less body roll, better braking, turning and smoothness but then again ofc lol

Now I'm able to take speed bumps at just under 40 and get some air lmao[emoji3] (taking the term "speed" bump literally) Also able to take tight 90* turns alot quicker like 30 vs 20mph

Also our bleeder screws for 02-08 are M10x1.0 for both front and rear. I got a set for front and rear from Amazon $13

Got bass blockers For the dash speakers installed yesterday and it sounds by far much more better especially now that i can run the rears full range now, the bass is also much better and more of a correct thud then a rattle with the front doors insulated, the whole car sounds much more sealed complete with the insulation on just the front doors.

Now with bass blockers I can really turn the power up and bass up for the rears too. Should be even way better with the jl audio dash speakers and the Rockford fosgate rears and maybe even a sub [emoji3]

Forgot to add that autoanyting is sending me a new ss brake line kit so that should be good once installed

I also need to redo the whole front suspension with poly control arm bushings, new lower shock mount bushing, lower ball joints, and bilstien shocks that should definitely make everything handle alot better.

Then I'll have to move to rear poly bushings and bilstien shocks aswell.

Also was thinking of getting a aluminum driveshaft from a 02 and maybe... even a 3.73 g80 [emoji3] lol

Hope you don't me adding to your thread. I'll delete if it irrelevant to your build thread.

So I was @Gerbil21 place yesterday talking and over viewing and comparing thoughts and ideas about speakers, amps and rating and so on.

Then we got to trying out a few door speakers I had on his set up. He has the bose in with an after market amp. Which to me hit really well for being bose. We also tried my older kicker 2 ways and we didn't get what we where both looking for. Then we tried my mb quarts 8" dual cowl subs that I currently have on my doors and his amp just didn't do anything for them.

After trying to see what we can adjust and do to his setup he's decided to go a whole new route with his set up. Which I'm glad he's doing.

Then we got to looking over my equipment so we put my subs back in the door and I told him I'm running them full range as door speakers because of to much rattling going on. After chatting some more we gave it another try with them on my sub channel with the door panels off and oh man do they produce some bass.

After seeing what they can do he noticed my rattling may be do to a plastic lip on the door panels themselves. And sure enough the flex from the subs was touching the plastic lip and making my doors rattle like crazy. So we got a utility knife and cut them out and know everything is sounding great. A little vibration here and there but I'm going to go ahead and insulate the door eventually. Yea I found a great 5 channel amp but I comes out in 2016 so I'll probably stay with what I have for now unless I find something else I still need to look at more, I need to change the head unit though and Im definitely looking into a tablet install Also looking for 8" door subs,

So far the bose won't distort with the extra power but instead due to their design with the voice coil in front of the cone it hits it causing a bad slap sound making a power limitation but they handle just under 90w's rms just fine

And I'm definitely looking forward to a sub install [emoji3]

Kicker makes a 600 watt mono block amp that's like 7x8. I have the 300 and it sounds real nice. And it fits under the rear seat in the on star module spot. If you go that route. Small. Just saying.

Ok so if I go all out I think this would be a good setup, not going to happen anytime soon thought unless my bose blow up

Two 4 channel 1200W amps
http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/301700...7290-0%26rvr_id%3D909466710016&chn=ps&lpid=82

8" shallow mount subs for the front doors
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GTWAI2/?tag=gmtnation-20"+sub&dpPl=1&dpID=41tHiw3Yq7L&ref=plSrch

10" sub for the rear
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036W7OTY/?tag=gmtnation-20"+sub&dpPl=1&dpID=51mWZCrnWeL&ref=plSrch

10 farad cap
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003EJ5ZUE/?tag=gmtnation-20

I will just need to get new dash and rear speakers with this setup

I would have one amp powering the front and rear doors and the other amp powering the dash and sub

Or get one amp with dash and rears on one channel and front doors on the other and a mono block for the sub, which actually sounds like a better plan

If I make your rear stealth sub encloser I'd like you to run this as a sub. This is what I'll be picking up before the weekend for $180. I know the guys at Bensonhurst audio there like 2 blocks away and I throw them alot of work from ppl I know. So there cutting me a deal.

Got all these coming in to redo the front suspension will need to get some bilsteins too. Also have one front brake hose coming from rockauto and the other from Amazon so then I'll have new brake hoses all around and with the speed bleeders I should have some great brakes and be able to stop alot better, especially since I've done the ext brake swap too. Also in case your wondering that's a lower balljoint I've done the upper already and the upper control arm too so no bushings for that. Screenshot_2015-10-17-16-10-17.png
Also took the stock bose amp apart, its all simple and compactDSC_0213.JPG

I don't have a pic right now but I also added bass blockers for the rear speakers and it sounds great now I can blast it and everything works perfect very clear and the stock bose produce alot if bass especially when playing a cd you can hear and feel everything

had to move the amp forward to be able to reinstall the panel, this time I secured it with double zip ties, each zip tie can handle 50lbs so this is more then enough. I also cut out a hole for the power and ground wires to have space when mounted further up, covered the hole with duct tape, cut off the sharp edges and sanded the inside, then I covered the wires with plastic wire loom that I taped in place so I basically have nothing to worry about with these wires.
DSC_0195.JPG
Also checked and tightened every wire terminal and taped up all connections for a final install, zip tied the output wires up high and together to clean up the look and make everything neater, also zipped the line out converters up by the amp so they are out of the way and tidy aswell.
DSC_0198.JPG
Also made a new nice and tight ground connection with the paint sanded away with emery cloth for good contact.
DSC_0196.JPG
Also sent back my pyle 5.25 and 3.5 Speakers, I've already replaced the rear with the Rockford fosgate prime 5.25 and now I have the jl audio 3.5" speakers in the dash. The sounds is awesome!

Just thought I'll give a update, but I've been in contact with autoanyting and stoptech about the front stainless steel brake lines that did not fit, apparently the kit that was supposed to fit my 05 was actually for 06+. There are going to make another kit for me that should work for 05 down. They should be sending a tracking number soon. I did have to pay a bit extra for it $85 vs $75, this was after talking it down they wanted $135 for the kit at first.

Either way if this kit works then that will mean that stainless steel brake lines will be available for 02-05 trailvoys so YAY!!

They apparently have already already made a new part number and are just redoing the kit for these years

I'll keep this updated

I'd like to be there when you remove all those bushings and ball joints. It seems like It'll be fun. I haven't done any work on my lower control arms so it would be a watch and learn experience for me. I just ordered the complete arms for my voy but I'll be removing the bushings and ball joints to get the old arms powder coated.

Well the whole idea of just replacing the bushing was scrapped when the harbour freight kit wouldn't fit any bushing, so I just returned them and am going to order the whole control arms today.

Also I am going to need to move my amp over to the other side of the cargo area to be able to put back my rear panel on.

Also so far the Bose handle the the extra power great and there still going strong with playing them at max for hours with mainly dubstep, rap and rock all usually bass heavy songs too.

Replaced the foam surround yesterday which should help with sound and bass by some

Damn that sucks. I already have my set of new moog lca's ready for me to install this weekend maybe even tomorrow since I have the day off.

I also got a new half shaft assembly for the passenger side as well as the sway bar bushings and bracket to tackle.

Btw what bushings did you get maybe I'll take those of your hands since your purchasing new lca's?
