Around $2 gal, i have always used mid-grade in my Vehicle's. Just can't reach for that regular with today's gasoline and i prefer QuikTrip gasoline. Just another quirk i have.

The best I paid was $2.12 at a gas station in the middle of nowhere on Sunday.
It's $2.22 just up the road from me outside Decatur, AL. Good thing I filled up when I did.

My family outside of Frederick, MD is paying $2.66. Good thing I moved when I did.

Hey Mooseman,

Are you still using Imperial gallons up there? I'm a bit rusty on the conversion thing but about 3.7l to a gallon(us) would come to $4.91! (1.3 x 3.78) I filled up this morning $2.43 gallon in Tampa Fl. And through the end of this month when I use my Discover credit card another 5% off.

We're all metric since, oh, the early 80's. Used US Gal. for my conversion for you south of the border.

We're kinda weird here where the prices start high in the morning and drop off during the day. Started at $1.30/litre and dropped to $1.17 by evening.

I guess not enough Electric/Hybrid car emphasis lately, so the oil companies are licking their collective chops again, far be it from them to squander an opportunity...:poke:

Did a "Heimlich Maneuver" to this old thread since gas prices have really come down. Paid $1.99 gal. on the Seneca reservation, it's about 50 cents per gal more off res in WNY.
BTW ...this has been discussed before but, does the winter gasoline give poorer mileage? I've notice a drop and I seem to remember others saying the same.

My mileage dropped from 17 to 15 mpg.

Yeah, our prices dropped here too but nowhere near yours. In the evening, it drops to 0.99/litre (~3.01usd/gal).

It does, and you'll notice a bigger difference, the colder it is.

- Additives are put into 'Winter Blend' gas to help combustion. Warmer areas don't get as many, but they still get 'some'.

- Summer blend doesn't require the winter additives; the fuel combusts more readily (but major metros get more additives (E10, E15, others) to lessen emissions in the summer, which also lower FE -- so it's more of a wash, on a year-round basis, if you live somewhere with a large population). This affects me, since my metro covers from Milwaukee, WI all the way to Gary, IN.

- ICEs are slightly more efficient in warmer temps.

- Diesel engines take a little bigger hit than gassers in colder temps, IIRC.

(on edit): For those comparing, current gas prices near me are holding steady, between $2.38 - $2.48 / US gal, per Gas Buddy.

I hate winter fuel.

Gas around me is all over in pricing. I passed stations on my commute this morning that varied from 2.59 to 2.15 per gallon. Luckily i paid attention last night and filled the truck up with 93 this morning at 2.75 per gallon. It is tuned for it and seems to run better, but I had not been as diligent on putting high test in since I tend to fill it and van at same time with our monthly $1 off w Kroger fuel points.

The one good thing about the Corona Virus is falling gas prices. Lowest here is $0.93/L. Oil prices dropped the most since the Gulf War!

Too much talk about this Corona Virus and no action. Would prefer things back to the way they were or maybe I'll go hide in the North someplace till things blow over. Come on Justin, close the damn airports already.

Gas in NWI is sitting at $2.17-2.25 gal, sadly its the winter blend it seems (was hitting 17 on the highway, where I typically hit 19.5-20).

Still in the 2.30s. Would be 1.90s without the new gas tax...

Filled up this morning at $2.05. That was nice to see this morning. It's been $2.30-$2.60 most of the winter.

It is 2.39 in hometown and 2.09 in Indy, but I saw 1.99 in between. Generally the best prices are right in the middle of my commute.

Here, the prices are higher in the morning and drop during the day. A quick look on Gasbuddy, price is already at $0.878/L just around the corner. I'm gonna wait till tonight to see if it drops even further as my tank is empty.

They are going to drop further, although it might be like the usual 'feather', not like a rock.

They'll be lower for awhile, I predict, based on the inputs multiplying off one another (OPEC+ price war, resultant supply glut, Covid-19, economic contraction)

Slightly off topic, I still cant believe that Corona Beer sales have dropped 75% because of the Corona Virus.

LOL... supposedly, one poll had 38% of ppl saying they would not buy Corona beer b/c of the virus. Amazing.

Then you have panic buying of... toilet paper.
TP? Hard to believe this shite (pun intended)

Seems oil prices recovered a bit today. Tonight's the night to fill up I think. I was right, prices nearby are nearing the $.80/L. Oddly enough, Costco is still in the 0.89 range. Would be a hoot to see 0.79 or lower later tonight!
