My uncle recently passed leaving my mom his 2000 silverado(only 58k miles on it.) I've only driven it a few times, but I notice the pedal needs a little extra umph to get it moving. It needs enough force that it looks like i'm trying to spin tires at every stop sign. Any ideas of what it may be? Could a gunked up throttle body cause this? I'm sure it's never been cleaned.

I had that problem with my daughters '94 Bravada. Trying to get it on ramps for an oil change, I almost over ran the ramps.

Long story short, the t-body was gunked-up and sticking.

A can of t-body spray cleaner took care of it.
