Ok I now have a 3 inch lift and I'm running Duratracs 245/75R16 (30.5x9.5-16) with 1/2 inch away from the upper ball joint and may look at getting 295/65R18 (33x11.5-18).
Is there anyone running 33 inch Duratracs on a 16 or 17 inch rim?
If not what size of negative offset/backspacing of a rim do i need to get to clear the ball joint for the larger tires. Wheel spacers are illegal where I'm at so I need to get rims.
Thanks

Are you getting custom rims made?

Not many options in our bolt pattern.

Ya figured as much and i'm guessing no hub assemblies from another vehicle will fit on our vehicles?

And bolt pattern modifiers are the same as running spacers.

So i'm guessing i would need a 3 inch spacer? Since i'd be going from 9.5" to 11.5"? To clear the upper ball joint by an inch instead of 1/2 inch?

Edit: OP, are you going to use spacers, even though you said they are illegal where you live?

Illegal... That is a tough one because mine and about 90% of trucks around my area are technically illegal for a few things.

What does your law state exactly that makes them illegal or is this an I heard type thing?

This. Are we talking illegal, "illegal", or cannot pass state inspection if they're installed?

Province. Everything after market is illegal in winnipeg. Hell lifting they have a messurment for suvs and quarter tons that we have to stay within to stay road legal. Vehicle inspections here are ridiculous.

And if i have to i will use the spacers

There's plenty of aftermarket wheels with the offset you need. In fact, I have a barely used set if you're interested.

No shit. People all the time on here complaining about lack of aftermarket in our bastard pattern and you know a source with plenty? Please share!

Ebay is your friend  Seriously, just do a search on ebay along the lines of "6x127 wheels" and you'll see a good amount of options are available.

But not in a 16 or 17 that would be used for offroad. The options are really in the 20+ inchers.

" Tires cannot extend outside of the body of the vehicle. "
... watch out for that one too :duh:
