Would you please listen to this video made right next to the pump in the rear wheel well. Notice the lower change in pitch of the pump at 20 seconds into it. After a few seconds it goes back to a higher pitch. Sounds like its screetching instead of whirring. Let me know what you think.

My Tb fuel pump is noisy like that also. I have noticed its more pronounced in the winter months. My fuel gauge sender is on the fritz so I planned on changing the both together one day. When will it die, dunno. I do not expect it to die while in use, I expect it so simply not prime or pump when I turn the key one day.

IIRC, there was a recent thread about the fuel pump relay going bad.
Roadie explained how a relay can be bad, but not completely fail.
It would be a lot cheaper and less work if replacing the relay fixed it.

I guess I will just live with it. The pressure is fine. I was just looking for a bunch of people to answer "Yeah! My fuel pump made that same sound a month before mine died".

It would be nice if I could get my hands on a Verus or Tech2 and do an injector balance test.
