Truck front end made an unusual clunk noise last night. I checked it this morning and my swaybar end links are very lose. Then when I looking and comparing parts I need to replace them I see why. Mine in the pic is missing the 2nd bushing at the top isnt it? I looked at the passenger side, and its the exact same way, same bushing missing.

Does anyone have the torque specs for the end link? Do I tighten it until it starts to compress the bushing some?

My bushings that go under the stabilizer bar brackets are all dry rotted too. I am replacing those also.

Will this need a front end alignment afterwards?

I didn't see a pic in your post. Torque specs for the end link nuts are 114 fl-lb each, for the sway bar brackets, those are only 40 ft-lb. No alignment necessary, that would be if you replaced your tie rods, or lower control arms with the brackets.

Yeah that one came through. Didn't realize you had an 08 model. So the torque specs are a bit different. It does appear you're missing the top bushings from what I see in GMSI.
