Front passenger door removal

Hi All,
My Envoy has a pretty nasty dent in the front passenger door. I have an opportunity to purchase one, exact same colour in excellent condition for far less than the cost of fixing the dent and repainting. I am wondering how difficult it is to remove the entire door. Has anyone done it? I am assuming the hinges unbolt, my concern is the electrical side. I assume there is a harness that needs to be unplugged?? Where is it?

Any insight appreciated as this will help me weigh the decision.

Thanks!
Adam

When you open your door and look at the hinge area, you'll see a weather tight harness connection. There's a purple clip locking the 2 in place, so pop the clip loose and you can wiggle the connector apart, From there, you'll need to disconnect the door check, there are 2 kinds that I've seen, but pulling the rubber boots off them, you should be able to get a socket in there to unbolt them. If memory serves me, they are 10mm. The rest should be pretty self explanatory.
