I was walking up to the truck after work and see something hanging down in the front. I check it out closer, and its a hose that is connected to the front differential. I am not sure where it came undone from or where it connects back to, and I am not close to home to really work on it.

Fortunately I had a piece of zip tie I found in the back and used that to tie it up to something in front.

Will this tied me over until the weekend, what and where does that hose go specifically??

The first pic shows the hose coming directly out above the front differential filler plug. The 2nd pic is where I zip tied it on top of engine area.

any help greatly appreciated!

That would be the vent hose. it's OK there for now. It's normally attached to the bracket under the PCM where the wire looms are all attached. You'll likely find an empty wire holder for it. It probably just slipped out.

Holy Double Post @Mooseman !

Like he said, its good right there. The main thing is to keep it away from water trickling down the hose and making its way into the DIF.
