Agreed. I really like them myself. I have never used a holster but I carry a .22 Ruger with my sweatpants sometimes that I am sure would be better off with a holster.

The holster is made of Kydex. I make them for friends and family. I'd make one for a forum friend, the only problem is that I do this for a hobby and I use the actual gun to make the holsters. Businesses that make these holsters use plastic replica guns so they can mass produce them.

I picked this up last year for concealed carry, it's a Sig P238 .380 ACP, Rosewood Edition. I bought 2 Sig extended mags for it, it'll carry 7 in the mag, one chambered. I like the small frame and that it operates and looks like a 1911. I have used the factory sig holster since day one, but am looking at a handmade leather set up from a company in TX. Two stock Sig pictures and one of it my hand.

I have a meager collection, my favorite is a 1930's H&R Model 999 top break revolver with 6" barrel in .22. It was left to me by my wife's late grandmother, she also gave me a Remington 511 bolt rifle in .22. Both are prized possessions of mine that I'll give my kids when they're old enough to have their own firearms licenses.

Old faithful. Remington 870 express. Second firearm I ever owned. My dad passed this down to me when I was ready to use a 12ga. My mom bought this for him in '87 and I still have the original receipt. Went from a single shot break action .410 before this. Since she's been mine threw on the sling, mounts, and max4 camo wrap. Wood underneath.

That's really nice!!

I have a Mossberg 500 tactical, cz arms 462 .22 rifle special edition, and a pre 1964 Winchester 70 .30-06 converted to a sniper rifle. I used to have a few more but had to sell them early on in my divorce so I could get a place to live. Boooooo

Brother in law has a Mossberg 500 scoped with the rifled barrel, fun to shoot. I need to pull out the old .410 and shoot that a bit. Its great! I'm on the hunt for a .30-06 that I like right now, as well as a .22. My fiance told me the other day that she wants to go get her ccw so that gives me excuse to search for pistols

For a .30-06 I would highly recommend and older winchester 70. Very solid shooting rifle

My 500 has the following:

Collapsible stock with gas cylinder
Sightmark holographic sight
2" lower rail
Stream light w/pressure switch
Breach muzzle
Polymer heat shield
Tactical strap
Tactical sling

Love that shotgun

I do like my Mossy 500 and it is nice to be able to configure it all the different ways. I got 2 barrels and a few stocks, but for a tactical shotgun the Benelli M4 is always going to be my favorite.

I have a few cases full of em, but the one I carry daily is my High Point 45 ACP. Relatively cheap, 10 round capacity (including one in the chamber), accurate, knockdown power, and the overwhelming urge to piss your pants when your looking down the barrel after hearing the phrase "Oh, you want my truck?"

I have a really nice shoulder harness for mine that conceals it very well. Not to mention I'm 6'3" and 300lbs. This was one of the few guns that didn't make me feel like I was holding one of those little plastic water guns. That and nobody thinks anything of a fat guy in a button up over shirt, well besides "shouldn't that have Hawaiian print on it?" . :raspberry:

Doesn't make it lighter. There are a good deal of lighter and yet similarly sized weapons.

If you like it and can hit what you point it at then no one can argue though.

You are 100% correct sir! I just didn't want to drop twice the $ on a G21. I try to be a cheap ass without effecting quality too much.

Going for a lightweight build most of my stuff should be here this upcoming week.

Tennessee Arms Hybrid Lower its a polymer with high grade brass reinforcement.

CMMG lower parts kit excluding fire group

CMC 2.5 flat blade trigger

ZeroFail nickel boron Bolt Carrier Group

Spikes tactical T2 buffer/spring

Magpul stock

1-8 chrome lined with OD green free float 12inch matched upper receiver with m4 feed Ramps

Going all out on back up sights with the Diamondhead Diamond sights (this is by far the part of the build I'm most excited about)

Optic I'm undecided this might honestly stay an iron sight weapon.

Nice safe. I need one myself. I'm looking at a 18 gun safe right now. I had some new additions to the collection. A Remington 1100, Winchester 94 and a Keltec Sub2000.

Same one. So now I have a G27, G22 and the Sub2000. Easy to interchange magazines. I also have some Lonewolf barrels that I can install a 357 Sig and 9mm.

I'm really loving the Sub2K now. My buddy sold it to me with a Red lion for end on it. So now I can add a scope and still be able to fold it.
