So yesterday I finally got a code reader and plugged it to my 05 LS. Came up with 3 codes:

P0014
P0017
P0014 again?

I cleared the codes and did some research. This week I will order a new AC Delco CPAS of Amazon and do an oil change. Hooefully that will take care of the P0014 code. Just fir the he'll of it today I plugged the reader back in and only got 1 P0014 code. The P0017 and 2nd P0014 are gone. My question is why did 2 of the P0014 codes show up, and why is the P0017 gone without replacing anything?

That's because one is a hard error and the other is pending, meaning it will be active again on the next drive cycle.

Oh, it might, given time. Since it's related closely enough to your stored code it's not unusual. The modules have only logic to work with and so you always have to widen the lens a bit with any code, in that one can set others in motion while you still only have one bad part.
