Exhaust Vibrations?

So I know I'm taking a shot in the dark with this question but its really bothering me. The other day I gave it WOT and around 3200-3500rpm I felt a weird vibration and rumble ON THE GAS PEDAL from the motor/exhaust. My resonator rattles and a little noisy when its cold but everything is tight underneath. The TB accelerates like it should and doesn't hesitate or become sluggish through the whole rpm range. At 3200ish rpm I feel the gas pedal and something else rattles and shakes til 3500rpm and then the exhaust whistles until >4500rpm after which it just roars to the shift. Nothing else shakes just the pedal and abruptly stops at 3500rpm on WOT.
Is this just the exhaust rattling? Not really in a position to jack all four and get under it in drive quite yet. Putting the exhaust repair off until its an ear sore. I wasn't sure if it could be a mount or what. Thanks in advance for the replies. And for the record I rarely make a trip where I break 2500rpm. Driving like grandma sure helps with gas. Im asking bc I hope its not something else I've missed reading many, many posts here and on the os. Thanks for reading

Do a visual inspection for cracks

My exhaust was getting louder and louder, did a visual and the muffler has a nice long hairline crack in it.

Tried muffler cement but didnt work, might try a bandage, if all else fails, will get a new muffler

I'll crawl under later and check again. Would a small crack or leak somewhere cause it to shake so much that I can feel it on the gas pedal? Nothing else shakes; tires, steering wheel nothing. I hope I am not worrying too much about something so trivial. I've crawled under during idle in park and the only "annoying" noise is the resonator in back and during a cold startup (<20F) I haven't noticed the exhaust blowing out anywhere but the rear. Maybe the manifold? Idk its weird that it only happens in the small range of 3250-3500rpms. It just happens no real progression or or increase just a audibly rough vibration. TB runs like a champ otherwise

Start from front to rear or vice versa

Mine started of like a small rumble now its loud as ever, even in park the evesdrought of my house is vibrating

Cool, thanks. I'll get a nice sounding cat back after the wife complains or I get too many goofy looks! in the mean time I'll continue to drive super slow. I def noticed the winter gas mpgs.

If you're getting a whooshing or whistling or hissing noise from the exhaust on hard acceleration the packing in the resonator might be collapsing. You said something in there is rattling anyway, so now might be the right time to do the classic resonator removal mod, only in your case, and mine too, it served a purpose and looked better too. I wish I could remember the size I bought, but it was a simple 90 degree exhaust elbow and a Walmart stainless tip. The elbow fit snug in the exhaust pipe and it looks nice and neat. Use a cold chisel to split the front weld on the resonator, so that you can use the few inches of pipe that extend into the resonator. Most people use a sawzall but then youre right at the hanger.
