Engine coolant temperature(ECT) sensor part number

Hi,

I just got P0128 code on my 2005 Trailblazer 4.2 so I decided to replace the thermostat along with the ECT sensor. My problem is that i'm unable to find ECT sensor part number, i searched this forum, used google, and browsed the parts diagram which gave me 3 possible choices
12564512 SENSOR,ENG COOL TEMP(2-WAY FEMALE) (03.682)(ACDelco #213-963)
12608814 SENSOR,ENG COOL TEMP(2-WAY MALE)(2-WAY MALE)(ACDelco #213-4333
19236568 SENSOR,ENG COOL TEMP(ACDelco #213-4514) (ALL MAKES)

So I'm still not sure which one of those is mine.

Hi and welcome to the nation!

12564512 seems to be right
19236568 and 12608814 come up as for a 2.2L 4 cyl. Not sure why it's coming up in the dealer's search system.

Checking on RockAuto, ACDelco #213-963 (12564512, 19244715) is correct. 12564512 is an older number, replaced by 19244715 but the ACDelco number is the same.

I JUST got done dealing with the same code. I first thought it might have been the Sensor, so I bought a new one and put the new one in (what a PAIN that was!). Clearned the code, and the light came back on. Tried a few more times, light kept coming back on. Long story short, I had to replace the thermostat, and that fixed the problem.
