My driver's seat heater has been out for a couple years and Saturday, I finally put my $10 heater element I found on eBay and replaced the burnt out element.
My driver positioning does not work now. All other functions work. There was a wire that looked like it was cut. It was about 10-12" long and I disconnected it at the connector. I am wondering now if this was an antenna.

I believe that I reconnected the 3 plugs that I disconnected to remove the seat. Two plugs that come up from the floor and one into the black box in the bottom of the seat (DCM?).
Any ideas how I can figure out how to get the seat memory function to work again?
Thanks,
-Dave

I raised the seat bottom to it's highest position and removed the cushion. The problem was obvious, a connector by the black box, tunnel hump side, was unplugged. Plugged it in and tested the functions, they worked. BTW removing just the seat cushion is a lot easier way to go about replacing the heating element.

Left the cut wire unplugged. Have no idea what is for.
