I mean, really, I'm used to GM fuel gauges operating on the logarithmic scale, and ignoring them and relying on the trip meter, but this just annoys the dickens out of me.
It will sometimes take 10 minutes after a fillup to show anything resembling a correct level, and that damn yellow light stays on until it does. Likewise, if I drive or park on an incline, it dives to an inaccurate level in around 5 seconds, and takes the previously mentioned 10 minutes to recover, even after the vehicle is leveled out.
Is this a common problem, or am I just blessed? And, taking it as a given that I do not have the ability to drop the tank and do a DIY solution, how much should I expect to pay to replace the bloody thing, if I decide to do so?
