I want to say someone on the OS used these (or something similar), when they relocated their license plate due to an offroad spare being mounted to the lift gate. Can't remember exactly though...

Used a few versions. Not a great price, but they are easy enough to find if you need something like this. Also work well if you want some lighting under the hood when raised.
