Wow.

Lucky dude. I wonder what caused a sharp dent in the roof....aren't the generally flattened? Either way you're right.......damn lucky.

Looks like a big rock caused that dent. Glad only minor injuries. You're absolutely right about being lucky it was not worse. Thanks for the reminder to check yourself and drive safe this winter. Leaving on a roadtrip myself in two days.


Was it called in or did someone stumble on it?

There were witnesses that called it in.

Where she went off the road there are large granite boulders which did most of the damage to the vehicle.

Seeing pictures like this always makes me appreciate our vehicles even more. Having seen some very bad accidents with many vehicles, it seems that TB owners usually walk away, some with only minor injuries. The driver was extremely lucky.
