CV Boot Gaurd

The other day I saw a suburban with some CV boot guards. Assuming the were retro fitted and made by Polaris. I cant find any that are made specifically for our trucks. Has anybody done this modification? Replacing two CV axles now, figured I’d add some extra protection. Attached a sample image.

I had some on an atv. I beat the shit out of my truck and cant see a reason to put them on it. I lost 1 boot from a stick in 10 years of wheeling it. I doubt the guard would have stopped that anyway and it did not stop me from wheeling the rest of the weekend.

Thanks Hard trails! I’ll go with out. I don’t do any off-roading but the pot holes of Baltimore will make you think otherwise, lol. Working my way up to a decent off-road rig. Piece by piece.
