everyone

I have had this sound come from my car from the time I bought it. It is a creaking like sound of a steel site or so and it appears to be from the pillar between the two doors. Specifically the drivers side. I also noticed the same sound in my Uncles TB.

Anyone experience this as well and if so how did you get around to fixing it.

I am in the process of eliminating all unnecessary sounds in my car since my dad changed his shocks on his Yukon he's been all like such a smooth ride unlike the TB! :blinkhuh:

As always I really appreciate all your help :tiphat:

it appears to be from the pillar between the two doors. Specifically the drivers side.

If you have the automatic HVAC system, there would be a temperature sensor on the driver's side B pillar, about ear height. Many mistake this for a speaker. I don't think that's supposed to make any noise.

The upper and lower panels are held in by clips, so wedge something flat and thin between them and the rubber seal, and pop them loose. See if anything looks "off" Drive with it like that for a bit, and see if the sound gets louder. If not, the problem is somewhere else.
