Hi everyone

I would normally go ahead and grease the steering column shaft. However this is a weird situation. If I drive normally and turn the steering wheel there is no sound whatsoever. However when I activate any turn signal immediately there is a creaking sound as soon as I even tilt the wheel by a small amount.

Any one had the same issue and what would be a suitable fix for this

Thanks

Take the black plastic off from around your
Wheel. Disconnect the ignition module wire in the process and you'll be able to see 2 torque screws top and bottom of the steering column tighten those and see if it fixes your situation

If you don't see screws, then the plastic is snapped together.

Just remember to unscrew your ignition control module. There's a single torque screw holding it in place. Very small one at that
