Will a cluster from an 06 silverado HD 2500 with the trans temp guage work in the envoy of the same year?

As we all know 4l60e is temperamental and I'd like to keep an eye on temp

Pretty sure the pin layout is different between the wiring harnesses, and the general shape of the cluster not "fitting" correctly into the dash housing.

You'd be better off just running an aftermarket temp gauge from the trans to the interior, or using a digital scanner to watch it.

You can get a cheap OBDII reader off Ebay/Amazon and use the Torque app on your phone to read trans temps. That's what many of us do.
