After I changed leds in my climate control for some reason everything works fine but the recirculation button. Will come on automatically when starting the car and can only turn off by going into defrost mode. Then cant turn it back on at all. Not sure how changing the leds would affect this but after inspecting the board everything looks fine. (Attached pictures)
Any advice would be great, thanks for reading.

That's a headscratcher for sure. I agree, changing out the bulbs for LEDs shouldn't affect the button control functionality. Maybe while you were working, something got onto the contact pad? That's the only thing I can think of. Maybe swab it with some alcohol, and hope that's all it is.

:undecided: I've never seen LEDs like those, for my own curiosity's sake, what are the specs on them?

Maybe check for continuity between the two contacts of the pad and/or the termination points of the traces for them.

Well, this is embarrassing, I can`t edit my post. Check for a short between the two contact pads.

Do you have a scantool that can talk with the HVAC module? How about one of those inexpensive Bluetooth/WiFi OBD2 adapters, the kind used with apps like Torque Pro?

The status of the recirc button can be checked that way. Easier with a scantool that shows live data but there are ways to do it with the little OBD2 adapters also.

(EDIT: Just checking edit feature)
