Cleaning the IAT & MAP Sensors?

Hello. I have a question. I'm guessing that these Trailblazers don't have a mass air flow sensor? I have cleaned my throttle body out, and was trying to figure out where the Mass air flow sensor was so I could clean it as well. All I see is the IAT sensor that is between the throttle body and the air intake tube. Is this cleanable? Or is it not meant to be cleaned, if so what do I clean it with? and I am guessing that these things instead of a Mass air flow sensor have a MAP sensor that sits on top of the engine. Is that cleanable or not? Thanks, and I hope that I made some sense :rotfl:

I know they switched from MAP to MAF, but don't know exactly when.

FWIW, I've never cleaned the IAT or MAP, I'm at 150K+ miles.

All V8s have MAFs with integrated IATs, all engines have 1 Bar MAP sensors, 02-05 I6s have just an IAT sensor (no MAF), 06-09 I6s have a MAF with integrated IAT (dont know if the V8/I6 MAFs interchange, have to look at pt #s).

Hope that helps, Ive cleaned the IAT on my 02 a few times when I had the intake off. Doubt it needed it though.
