Well we're a month away from the big weekend. Now is the time to get a list of what we need and what we are bringing. This is completely voluntary, it is not necessary to bring something to attend.

This is the list from the last 2 bbqs.

Grill - Black LT
Grilling instruments - Jimmy
Burgers - GMTNation/Black LT
Dogs - GMTNation
Cheese - GMTNation
burger rolls - GMTNation
hot dog rolls - GMTNation
sides (i.e. potato salad)
paper plates - mikeinde
paper towels - mikeinde
plastic utensils (yeah, don't forget those lol)
condiments - MAY03LT
cups - mikeinde
cooler(s)/ice - BO TIE SS
drinks -Jimmy(water/icedtea/beer+coolers)
snacks - BO TIE SS

If anyone has anything to add, post up. I'm not going to sign up for anything until we have a better idea of how many people are attending. As of today (7/3) we have 6 registered/ 9 total.

For the registration thread, Click here!

I don't have one huge cooler, but I've got four decent size ones I can bring.

My wife makes a good potato salad I could bring that I think I bought it a few times. But would you guys rather me bring pulled pork again. Let me know either way. I will only be there Sat but will bring a container I can leave for everyone if anything is left over.

I agree with the pulled pork.
But just make it ahead of time, you don't want to spend the day making it at the show.

Someone had a tiny grill last year that worked out great with the smaller crowd. Nelson bought something similar.

We're getting a count of how many burgers/franks to get.

Traditionally, we'd grill:

Fri lunch
Fri dinner
Sat lunch
Sat dinner

Right now we're at 8 attendees. After consulting the quadratic formula, I figure 4 dozen of each. I'm open to suggestions if that sounds like it's not enough, or pah haps too much.

How many members are bringing a wife or significant other? I will bringing smoked pulled pork and would like to know how much to make for Sat. 4 lbs should make around 16 sandwiches. Hows that sound?

Don't trust that - if you want some - eat up.
Last time you brought some - there was extra, but everyone wondered where it went - it just disappeared.

Bogarts!!!!!

If the pulled pork doesn't fit you must acquit.

If anybody has a crappy card table they could bring, that'd be awesome.
The portable grill I'm bringing is for like setting on a table.
I suppose we could use one of the main tables but a small one would be nicer.

Do I need to bring my little stove to heat the pork? It will be in a aluminum tray style pan. Figured I would bring it in this so I can just leave the whole thing there for Sunday. I will not be staying overnight.
Will I need to bring buns for the pork?

That would be great.

How many rolls do you think I should get? Also, which roll will work best in this application? Do I need a particular kind of roll, like a fancy one with sesame seeds, or just a standard monotone no frills roll?

I'd figure we could use the grill with low heat to warm the pork

My plan is to come to the tent first. I've got 4 bags of chips to drop off as well as 3 coolers. (my 4th cooler contains my adult beverages)
Then I'll go check in at the hotel. I should be there before 2:00 PM. :wootwoot:
